Joanna Gaines has made her mark in the design world. Not only has she brought a new perspective to flipping homes for clients, but She also took Waco by the horns and turned shacks into dream homes! As much as I hate to admit it, "Jo" impresses everyone. Her DIY is something to DIE for! Gaines first took on a small storefront where she sold fresh veggies like a farmers market, and many of her shabby chic decor we see on TV. Next, Joanna and her husband, contractor Chip Gaines took on the famous "Silos" in downtown Waco. Chip and Joanna opened a "farm to market" cafe and a larger store to sell their "Magnolia" products. They even have a cute seed shop where you can buy organic vegetable seeds and dried sage. Every Target has a dedicated "Magnolia Home" display filled with the latest merchandise from Chip & Joanna.

We've all become distracted by her cute decor, and never realized she took the paint industry by surprise with well-known paint pioneer, Kilz

Tucked away in the small (but powerful) hardware section, her stripped paint cans catch the eyes of shoppers. Matte, eggshell, and satin finishes seem to be bare, but it really Kilz the competitor. As you skim through the paints, names like Silverado Sage & Vine Ripened Tomato stand out as we've never encountered names like these. We knew you would appreciate these three beautiful, wholesome colors as much as we do!

  1. Green Undertones

I am always a sucker for green undertone walls. It gives the room a calmer feeling and softens the space well. Stem Sage would have to be my favorite in the “green” category.

3. Blue Undertones

‘Together’ is a bold shade of blue to use, but it sure is beautiful. The mixture of navy and a deep gray is a color you should also have in your back pocket. Just in case the right moment shows its face.

2. Gray Undertones

No one can go wrong with a nice gray. I LOVE working with a darker shade of gray. A moody room is totally in this year, and why not? Autumn Gray fits perfectly in a bedroom or study.
