Cody Sabo, allied ASID

Creative Director + Principal Interior Designer

BA in Interior Design at the Uinversity of the Incarnate Word

Cody Sabo, principal of Haus of Sabo, is an American designer creating timeless, well-tailored, and provocative environments. In projects spanning the state of Texas, the Sulphur Springs-born native intuitively mixes modern furnishings and period moments for unexpected spaces.

Sabo’s layered interiors — risky and provocative decorative elements — are meticulously detailed and reflective of each individual client’s lifestyle. “Design space as far as your clients allow you...a little nude never hurt anyone!” says Sabo. He continues, “Your space should reflect who you are as a person without any apologies.”

From intimate mid-rises to bespoke dwellings, his mix of the masculine and feminine creates inspirational narratives that are as diverse as they are well-dressed. “Design is fundamental and we push the boundaries and take them to new levels every day.” says Sabo. “The primary focus is to meet your goals through function, aesthetics, and your well-being, all while keeping the designs edgy and risky!”

Based in Sulphur Springs, Texas, Sabo, whose identifiable work is inspired by both the past and the present, has been featured in numerous shelter publications and recognized with multiple design awards. Sabo recently was recognized for his volunteer work within interior spaces through the American Society of Interior Designers.
